C. Information Third Parties Collect Electronically Automatically
1. Third-Party Cookies for Site Use Analysis We use third parties such as Google to help us analyze how people are using our Site. We also use the Google Analytics service to provide us with demographic data about our users, such as age and gender, on an anonymous basis. That Google service uses a cookie that can be recognized by Google or its affiliate DoubleClick when you visit other websites.

Third-Party Cookies Used to Target Ads to You When You are on Other Websites We work with other companies who use their cookies or beacons to target CertiPay/iEnroller ads to you when you visit other websites. This is called retargeting and is common practice. You may also see third party ads on our Site that are targeted to you based on your prior visits to that third party’s website. Other companies we work with target other payroll industry ads to you on other websites. This is called behavioral advertising, because you receive ads based on your prior online behavior. For example, when you visit our Site you may receive a cookie on your browser that is read when you visit Linkedin using that same browser, so that during your visits to the Linkedin website you might receive advertising based on the pages you visited on our Site. “Beacons” are transparent pixel images that are used in collecting information about website usage across websites and over time.

California law permits users who are California residents to request and obtain from us once a year, to whom we have disclosed their personal information for direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, as well as the type of personal information disclosed to those parties.
